Brushing stimulates the skin under the cow’s fur and encourages shedding, which cows need to do to maintain their thick, lovely winter coats. It is also a wonderful way to give our

Join the Vegetable Team for a Community Work Day on Wednesday, February 14 from 1:30-3pm. Meet at the Apple Tree by the School parking lot to walk over to the greenhouse on the Farm side of the street. This is a great opportunity to help the Farm prepare for spring, and connect with fellow community members.

Hawthorne Valley is excited to join our fellow Biodynamic farms in a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Biodynamic Agriculture! Please join us at Mettabee Farm & Arts (551 Harlemville Rd, Hillsdale) enjoy live music, agricultural “20 Minute Talks,” demonstrations, children’s activities, and more! Harvest Festival 2024
